Project Management of Irrigation Dams
In manufacturing, one of the keys to success is securing access to raw materials.

The same challenges apply to grape growers where securing access to water and having it available in the dry years is key to short, medium and long term success of the vineyard.

The solution is simple - build an irrigation dam!

The steps to achieving the solution are somewhat more complicated.

Once you have read what’s involved (see below) and if you think “that’s not for me/us” or “let’s do what we do best – grow grapes”, etc consider making contact and we may be able to progress your irrigation dam project together.

The high level milestones to have a new irrigation dam are outlined below.

We are currently project managing a new 35ML irrigation dam for an international winery group at their Barossa vineyard. We have worked with stakeholders to progress from the "Concept" and are about to commence earth works after a positive result from the "
Development Assessment Commission for approval".

Another project has been organising the change of land use from use from "cropping, grazing, vines" to "vines" to allow the vineyard to expand.
